Discover 301

Our next growth track class, Discovery 301, will be held on Sunday, November 4th. The class is designed to show how your gifts and talents are a part of Gods plan for your life. The 60 minute class will begin at 9:30 in the lobby and you can sign up by checking the Discovery 301 box on the back of a Communication Card or in our app.

Norman Fall Fest

We are participating in the Norman Fall Fest again this year on October 26th from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Over 10,000 people attend this event each year and it is our opportunity to introduce ourselves to people in our community in a fun way. Our goal this year is to bring 10,000 pieces of candy and we need your help! You can drop bags of candy at LifeSpring Kids through October 21st or you can give through our app by choosing Fall Fest Candy. We are also in need of volunteers to help with the event. You can sign up for one or more hours outside of the auditorium doors across from the Resource Center.

Reach

For the month of October, we are excited to partner with Compassion International to provide care for Compassion children around the world. This month, every 6 check-ins will provide a day of care for a child in need. Compassion International reaches out to mothers through their Child Survival Program so that they can intervene in the first year of life and then maintain support throughout infancy and childhood. Compassion’s trained Survival Specialists educate mothers in key areas of child development, provide nutritional, and emotional support for them to thrive. When children cross the 1 year old mark, they are enrolled in Compassion’s child sponsorship program for continued support. The hashtag this month is #compassion4kids.
