Church 101
Here at LifeSpring Church, we want everyone to get to know who we are and what we do. At Church 101, you will get to hear the story of LifeSpring Church, and all about our vision and values. Our next Church 101 class will be on Sunday morning, March 5th at 9:15 AM in the LifeSpring Lobby. This will be a quick 60 minute class, and childcare will also be available in LifeSpring Kids. To sign up, please check the Church 101 box on the back of your Communication Card or in our app.
Join the Dream Team
Through the month of February we are looking for people to join our Dream team in serving people and sharing Jesus. This opportunity is for six months and will begin in March and last through August. There are over 30 ways you can serve at LifeSpring Church. All you need to do is pick up a form across form the coffee bar and simply select a few areas you are interested in and then drop in the bucket next week. Then you will contacted by a minstry director and offered the opportunity to check out that ministry.
If you are currently serving on the Dream Team, we'd also like to know if you plan to continue to serve in the same position, or try something else. You can use the form to communicate that with us as well.
Community Outreach
For the next three weeks we are proud to be partnering with No Boundaries International in their street outreach ministry in OKC. We are accepting donations of toiletries and new socks and underwear of all sizes for men, women and kids. If you would like to be a part of this outreach, you can drop your your donations in the box provided in the church foyer.
Reach
This February, we’re asking you to check-in with love. We will be partnering with Compassion International to provide days of care for a child in need. Every 6 check-ins provides a day of care for a child in need. Compassion International is a child-advocacy ministry that pairs compassionate people with those who are suffering from poverty. The ministry releases children from spiritual, economic, social, and physical poverty. The goal is for each child to become a responsible and fulfilled adult. In the program, the children will receive: Nutritious meals to combat hunger, health assessments to identify medical needs, lessons in reading, writing and math, training for proper hygiene practices, and the opportunity to hear about God’s love for them. The hashtag this month is #compassion4kids. Thanks checking in for the children of Compassion!
