Church 101

Our next growth track class, Church 101, will be on Sunday, Nov. 5th. In this class you will hear the story of LifeSpring Church and learn about our vision and values. The 60 minute class begins at 9:15 in the lobby and you can sign up by checking the Church 101 box on the back of a Communication Card or in our app.

Norman Fall Fest

LifeSpring Church is again participating in the Annual Norman Fall Fest this Friday, October 27th! Each year this event is attended by over 10,000 people! This is our opportunity to introduce ourselves to people in our community in a fun way. Our goal this year is to bring 10,000 pieces of candy and we need your help getting it. From now until Wednesday, you can drop off bags of candy at LifeSpring Kids or you can give by choosing the Fall Fest Candy option in our app. We are also in need of 20 MORE volunteers to help with the event. You can sign up to join us for one or more hours right outside the auditorium doors across from the Resouce Center.

Food and Shelter for Friends Coat Drive

With winter right around the corner, we are holding a Coat Drive and partnering with Food and Shelter for Friends here in Norman. We are collecting new and used coats, hats, gloves, and scarves through Nov. 12th. Items can dropped off in the collection box in the foyer. We are also looking for volunteers to help distribute these items to people in our community on Nov. 18th. Sign up sheets are available across from the Resouce Center.

Reach

For the month of October, we are excited to partner with Compassion International to malnourished children grow strong through supplemental food and vitamins. This month, every 6 check-ins will provide a nutrient rich meal to a child in need. Malnutrition is not just a lack of food, it is a lack of the right food. Compassion helps children gain access to the food, vitamins, and supplements that will help them be healthy, active children. Last year, Compassion International provided nutritional food to over 85,000 severely malnourished children. Our hashtag this month is #compassion4kids. Thanks for checking in to give health to these children!
