Small Groups, Saturday Share, and more...
I love Sunday mornings! Getting to see my church family and worship with you is a highlight of my week. Part of that enjoyment, though, comes from the relationships I’ve built with so many of you during the rest of the week.
The truth is, there’s only so much connecting with people you can do on Sunday mornings, and it’s all but impossible to go deeper into the sermon or ask questions in the short time we can spend together before and after service.
That’s why LifeSpring Small Groups are so important. Small groups are where friendships form, in-depth learning occurs, and personal growth thrives. Small groups make Sunday mornings even more valuable because the people you sit next to in church become the people you’re doing life with as well.
Whether you’re looking to go deeper into Sunday messages, do a Bible study, or simply have fun with your brothers and sisters in Christ, there is a small group for you.

In addition to being passionate about sharing life through small groups, at LifeSpring we’re also passionate about serving others. We do that year ‘round in a number of ways. One of them is our monthly Saturday Share ministry.
Even if you’ve been a part of our church family for just a short time, you’ve probably heard about Saturday Share. It’s one of the most effective ways we connect with our neighbors in the Norman and Moore area. A squad of Dream Team volunteers gathers the first Saturday every month to greet people, share coffee and donuts, and make life a little brighter by providing rent and utilities assistance, fuel cards, and groceries.
As government assistance programs return to pre-COVID levels, we’ve seen the number of requests increase every month. This trend began last summer and hasn’t let up. During our January 7th Saturday Share, we served 30 families and distributed fifty-six bags of groceries in just one hour…both new records! As you can imagine, our pantry was all but empty when the doors closed.
With demand so high we can use your help. Wondering how to participate? I can suggest three simple ways:
Every investment in Saturday Share pays incredible dividends, both for recipients and for us as well! It’s quite a thrill to see the gratitude shown as recipients walk out the door, and to know we’ve done what Christ has asked us to do.

- Bring groceries for Bags by the Bumper. Pick up bags in the foyer, fill them with items listed on the label, and put them by your front bumper for pickup the first Sunday of the month.
- Contribute to Share Ministries. Everything you designate for this fund is reserved for Saturday Share and similar outreaches (like School Share and Christmas Share.)
- Become a part of the Saturday Share team. You’ll be surprised by how great you’ll feel while meeting the real needs of real people.
Every investment in Saturday Share pays incredible dividends, both for recipients and for us as well! It’s quite a thrill to see the gratitude shown as recipients walk out the door, and to know we’ve done what Christ has asked us to do.
